I met Christen through my friend Deena at a dinner I was hosting in Paris for the brand a few seasons ago. We became friends, bonding over fashion, art and travel. Since then we usually manage to be in touch around an art-fair or in Paris during the fashion shows. Christen also likes to take some very adventurous holidays to parts of the world I only dream of going to at some point in the future. Recently Christen and family wne to Fogo Island, a remote island off the coast of Newfoudland. Fogo Island Inn, build as a bridge between new contemporary life and traditional skills and crafts of the local islanders, introduces the guests to many facets of local life. Foraging for berries, fishing for mackerel, arts crafts and music traditions are all part of the experience.
