POSTCARD - CYCLADIC, ATHENS, GREECE

Aliki aka Marcanthia aka Sneaky works for the Cycladic Museum in Athens. She is a true Athenian, but used to live in London. International, travelled and the owner of one of the best little black books ever for any city anywhere, Marcanthia ( The name I use for her) sent this amazing postcard to the studio recently to remind me to take a trip to Athens before the end of October to be sure I get to see the incredible Ai Weiwei exhibition at the Cycladic. I don’t really need an excuse for a trip to Athens if Marcanthia is the one issuing the invitation, but the chance to see these special works, some old and some newly created at Weiwei’s temporary studio on the island of Lesbos, is a major draw.

It’s an incredible show and I am so happy to have been a part of it. And then after the shor we can go for dinner at my favourite restaurant just next door – Ratka for some proper people watching and catch up! Otherwise of course see you at frieze. Lots of love.
